Surviving the loss of numerous family members and close friends left Sunnie with a great deal of pain that needed a solution. Furthermore, she confronted her own mortality and contemplated the possibility that she might be making her own death transition earlier than she thought when she was diagnosed with cancer. Thankfully, Sunnie survived cancer and she healed completely.
